Thats a sweet combo... so with 20,000mha 4s your getting good flight times. Are those props apc e?

Very nice, do you have any aerial footage from it that you can show us?
Thanks

Waiting for some parts for the mount so I can operate it correctly, and finding the time to shoot some. Right now I am dealing with a hand injury so not really wanting to do any flying in the cold weather. We will get some footage soon

Gary, that is an impressive machine. What radio control system do you use?

Next thing is doing the setup for the XYZ coordinates for both the IMU and GPS. I have the IMU right in the center so I assume I leave the IMU placement at all zeros ? Then for my GPS I measure from the center of the craft to the GPS for the X coordinate which in this case is 12cm so I punched in -12 because its behind the IMU on the M4 rigger. and I punched in for the Z coordinate 5cm because it's on the poll.
I hope thats correct.
The GPS z value should be -5.

The camera mount wasn't even powered at this stage, basically just something to use to hold the camera. We now have a large mount to carry some pro sized cameras under this Hexa and upcoming Octo copter.

Testing is continuing using different motors and esc's to find the optimal cost vs efficency vs proper working unit.
Thanks for the info. I could have sworn that the video has no post.
Nice motors, the first time I see them. Every day I learn more in this great forum!

I understand this point.
So, I will not have manual mode after this?

I apologize for my lack of knowledge. One thing I learned is that you better be sure asking a lot before having a crash. Thanks again!

Thanks Gary. I was really curious what radio control system you would trust to fly such an expensive camera and machine.

The 9503 has served m well before that I used the 9303 with no issues. As far as the camera I have flown much more expensive cameras, I guess you just get used to it

Manual mode is pretty useless anyway I think. Except for earlier software versions when there was immediate motor stop only in this mode
