Slope Nostalgia: Slope Soaring News

Sorry if this is old news, but I had no idea this magazine ever existed, either in the past, or now currently on the web...

http://www.rcsoaringdigest.com/SlopeSoaringNews/

It's a slope soaring magazine that appeared in the late 80's (I had just started sloping then and was never aware of it's existence). I just happened upon it kinda randomly, while trying to find an email address for Jeff Fukushima...Anyway, it appears to have articles about many of the now "classic" slope planes, and even the old ads are cool! I think might have to start printing these out...it reminds me of thumbing through my old NSP catalogs.

Currently I'm reading about this airplane made by Sig..it's called the "Ninja."

Wow...what a great find! Thanks so much for posting. Once you start clicking on the different issues, it is hard to stop. I have bookmarked the site for future reading.

Yeah, very cool Brett. I "thumbed" through the first two issues earlier today when I had some time. I'll look at a few more tomorrow.

As I am likely going to be here at work very late tonight (mostly waiting around for stuff to hopefully not happen), I've started printing my own "book" version.

Karl....check out Vol 2, No 4: It's got the Ninja in at, along with a report about the IMS show in 1990. Brings back a lot of memories.
