25 size Electric size kits?

I am looking for a home for a 25 size electric motor and it seems like there is not a lot out there for that size. Most seem to be either larger or smaller models. Still trying to figure out these electrics after all my experience has been with nitro stuff (which I still fly and love).

Any ideas out there? I am wanting to look at scale looking planes, warbirds, civilian, pusher jet?

Not really interested in foamys. Prefer a kit or possibly an ARF.

Thanks in advance.

I suggest that you buy a Ron Daniel's Tempest or Typhoon. Outstanding kit and a perfect match for a 25 size motor. Contact Turbonut to put in an order. You won't be sorry.

Mark, actually I am close to finishing up your Spitfire and bought the plans for your Westland Whirlwind, Hurricane and Me-109 when MAN had their last sale.

Wanted to see what other kits were out there besides the ones everyone knows about from the Hobby Shop Big Box Stores. My last couple of builds have been scratch builds, thought about taking a break and do a kit.

Seems like most kits out there tend to be either smaller or larger than a 25 size plane.

We have some designed by Tom van Haaren that might work for you.

Mig-3, P-39, C.202, D-520

Derek Micko's Hurricane would probably work with that much power too.

If you like Golden Age, the TNJ 45" Waco looks really nice - only 50oz. Or their Turner Special, or Wendell Williams 44.

If you like WWI, then there are lots to choose from at AerodromeRC.

And there's a whole menagerie of stuff at http://www.manzanolaser.com ... they will sometimes re-size kits upon request.

Actually, no we won't resize kits for anyone.

The designers can resize their stuff if they want to.

I built a 30 year old Pica Corsair with e-power. Built stock and flies great with a 550 watt motor.

My bad. I thought I had seen some builds here that were up-sized... I assumed you guys did that.

Hi Jim,

Since you did mention AFF's
as a possible choice, Hyperion makes a large line of
25 size stuff you can check out:

I like the Bird Dog with flaps.

Also this Spitty when it comes back is a super flying plane:

We have cut some for those guys but unless they authorize us we cannot sell them.

Basically they re-engineer existing designs. Scaling up or down is not a simple process, usually requires changing some part thicknesses and possibly new parts.
