here is my cheap!!!(119.95) rtf shark jaw toys, viper shark that is going on 7 years i think. mabe 6, the real full scale one is in okc okla. the guy contracted a co. in china to build the r/c models to fund his build and research on the f/s ver. it will fly extremely slow and mine has been radar'd at 92 mph after a 200 ft dive and level flight. i have flown one( i have 2) in 30 plus mph winds with no problem. and have acually flew it backwards. the design of the wings produce tremendous lift in all wind speeds and flying speeds. ive even seen a lil rubberband slingshot ver. at the local attwoods farm supply. of course i had to buy one and check it out. any ways here is 2 pics to see how the wings are. it is diamond shaped. with a 64mm fan and an inrunner motor. i cut down the overly huge wing tip fins so it will roll faster. not sure if the still make these. like i said........they are cheap, but they make for a great trainer edf.

Speaking of sharks.....mine is over 3 years old now,and has well over 500 full flights on it.From all the belly lands I wore away the bottom of body/lower jaw.I just spread some 5 minute epoxy to it every year and its still going strong to this day.It has traveled all the way to Ohio last year,I fly the heck out of it,the most flown EDF I ever had.I have gone through about 20 depron teeth that I glue in the mouth, but thats about it.I may have to get another one before they stop selling them,it flies that good.Joe

2 planes i never thought i would have this long.
Banana hobby MiG-29 V2 with thrust vectoring, got it when they first came out. The thing still goes hard and I throw it around like a madman. Only changes are it's now got all moving stabs at rear and obviously the airbrush job. 2nd is the starmax/blitz rc works tomcat. Got a couple of these when they first came out also and this is the first one i made. I havnt flown it for a few months now but it still screams and still wows a crowd. Its stock running on 4cell and also has an airbrush job. |

I would have to say my Fly Fly F-100. I was one of the first to receive it after they were released. Mine is still going strong. Only changes was making it a single seater and adding a new paint job. It is a great jet.

I bought a Hobbico Superstar around 9 years ago. It may be almost a decade old, but it still flies like a dream

GWS TA-4J. Got it right when they came out. Had it for what seems like forever. Here is pic from her early days. She has a few cracks and dings from her years of service.
