Pretty cool. Besides the motor, you can't print batteries yet.

I am doing a little work with this tech. It is hot. I still prefer balsa though.

Only plastic for small parts. It's too heavy. Unless really thin.

Im pretty sure thats not the first. People have been printing helicopters for a while now. Its still cool though.

Probably so...but I'd love to see cheap consumer based 3-d printers. Then we could make our own custom parts.

I know there are some Makerbot 3-d printer kits out there but I think they are still pricey.

3D printing is an exciting process that can make plastic parts from any CAD drawing.

Not just planes. Anything. Plastic is heavy, but with proper use can be helpful.

Look up MakerBot to see a machine that is about $1000. Of course cannot make
that big of parts.
