38th Annual CVRC Fall Soaring Festival

It's time to open the registration for the 38th Annual Fall Soaring Festival hosted by CVRC. This year there are several changes being implemented. Some of the changes this year include:
A Hobie Hawk Class has been added.
AMA rule 5.2.a & 5.2.b in effect: Each contestant shall be limited to two models per class. Either model may be flown at anytime throughout the contest at the discretion of the competitor.
All flights Saturday start with a 5 minute then 3, 10 minute rounds
Sunday flights are a 5 min and 2, 10 minute rounds
Limit of one pilot per 50/53/72MHz frequency please list all available frequency choices. You can fly as many classes as you want on that frequency. So sign up early. Our goal is to have no impound at all. Any questions call me, Claude Turner 559-635-1330
One timer per pilot and one pilot per timer. If timer is chosen more than once, no timer is assigned to that pilot.
Sign up early for best selection of frequency and timer assignment.
Same landings format as last year.
You can sign up for as many classes as you want.
The goal is to fly and have fun. Also bring your money as rumor has it that there will be an Explorer from SoaringUSA in the raffle plus all kinds of goodies. Time to sign up is now. Go to RCSoaring.com or cvrcsoaring.com to sign up. Remember its October 1st & 2nd. Save that weekend . Claude

In regards to the timer issue, a person can only sign up to time for one person and you don't have to time for each other.Claude

Hotels

You can book your room for 85.00 dollars a nite at the Visalia Fairfield Inn. Just mention CVRC or the Fall Soaring Festival to get that rate.

There are no tasks less than 5 minutes. Both days are 5 min the first round, followed by all 10s...four rounds on Sat, three on Sun...or did I misread something?
