I think the MM Competition Special is really made to spin bigger props more efficiently, for F3P. I'd be very curious to see what RPM it turns. Unfortunately, MM doesn't list KV in their specs, which I think is odd. I've got one looking for a home, so I'm quite interested in this

Here is the link to the original manufacturer of midget motors

http://www.microbrushless.com/

and here the link in RC group. His name is Uttam (pronounced "ootam" "oo" as in oops)

Probably he can answer the questions...

Never go above 100% or the servos WILL stick. That's your problem.

THANK YOU! That is EXACTLY what I needed! Yea the battery is suppose to be the same for the Mig. That Hyp 240 should really wake it up.

I was hoping to use this http://www.hobbypartz.com/77p-sl350-2s1p-20c-2222.html but I believe it may be to big. I will have to take a good look at that Hyp 240. Once again thank you! The Stryker 180 is also on my to buy list. Just hard to keep up with all the RC offereings! I did pre-order the mig though.

OK found the USA Dealer but no 13/16/9 listed.

http://www.bsdmicrorc.com/index.php?...ID=52&offset=0

Edit I finally found it

http://www.microbrushless.com/productsG3f3p.htm

sure was well hidden.

Listed performance

Quote:
GWS 4.5*4 3.3 128g 13200
4.5 X 3 = prop loading factor of 60.75 ( short formular)

for a 4X 4 prop loading is 64 and the stock E flitewith the

GWS 4040 prop

Max. A 3.96 / 29.5 watts

Holds 12,300 RPMS / 3.7A

Also just curious do you often get above 1/3 throttle?

I pull on average 160 mAh in 5 min. which would be approx. 8 min. if I drained a 250 flat or aprox. 7 to 7-1/2 limiting DOD to 80 to 90%.

I wonder if MicroDan has something similiar.

Yanked out my board today.
Easy job.
Everything is super accessible.
This plane is begging for a speed mod job.

Check out that cracked center FET.

Those are the FETs!?!?!? Easy to replace, but hard to explain why the board would have died when plugging the battery. I guess a fast glitch, or simply making the beeps could draw a lot of current...

So, what is the status of that receiver again? Board totally dead?, or everything's working but the motor? If the board is totally dead, I would think that something else is also blown somewhere else.
