One thing I can tell you: ENJOY every second of it!!! It's a blessing that will make you 10 years younger... The only problem is timing: first you want them to speak, so you can understand each other, next you want them to shut up!! One day later they enter high school and you wonder when these 14 years have passed...

Thanks everyone.

We did find some tough news out. My son has 3 defects with his heart which is going to require open heart surgery in the very near future. The doctor would like to schedule the surgery for begining to mid november. Very nerve racking to say the list. Please keep us and him in your prayers.

Thank you.

I just went back to work today (here now). Mama is still off and spending time with the baby. He seems fine right now, but 2-3 weeks after birth is when signs of heart failure will begin which is when he will go on water pills. He needs to get a little bigger (above 10lbs) before they want to do surgery. When he sleeping and chilling I go out and fly some rc planes to past the time (and take my mind off of things) then hang out with him.

Keep ya chin up Diesel. The little buggers are stronger than we think and they fight. Be strong and fight with him. He'll pull through. Surgeons are amazing these days. Just think 10 years ago they might not have picked up the problem till it was too late.

Here's thinkin of ya buddy.
