I set mine up with triple rates per the manual and tweaked for my preference from there. As Lee stated, the manual's recommendatins are very good and you can adjust from there. It is a sweet flying plane so don't worry about it doing anything unexpected - especially on low rates.

these are good news...my first dive into balsa and 60" so I'm glad it won't be too sensative with low rates, till I get a feel for my personal comfort rates. tnx

Anyone using an APC prop? Seems a few here are using the Xoar 15x7. I was using an APC 15x8 on my older 58" Extra with great results but never tried a wood prop on it.

They've always been free. Click on the thumbnail to enlarge, then right click and "save as." If you have any trouble I can email them.

I ws thinking about making a calendar with all my Extreme Flight artwork, but time got away from me this year. Maybe for 2013, unless 2012 really is the end of the world.

Go with a 6S 3300 but no more than say a 3650...As Tim has mentioned in earlier posrs, keep the battery weight under 600 grams.

If using the Torque setup, go with a Xoar or Falcon 15x7 Wood prop (Electric version). We have that set up on my kid's plane and I will be doing the same on mine. Lots of power and 6-7 min. flight times on a 3300.
