Takker.

Dennis,

Wanted to thank you for posting this up! I have made a little build log here:
http://fpvlab.com/forums/showthread....0678#post30678

I hope it is ok. I feel this is just way too cool not to share it everywhere.

That's great, thank you

Please note, the normal SimpleOSD XL is NOT compatible with this software. It uses something like 14.6 mhz crystal and another bootloader.

Year I was a bit higher (and the offset was a bit off), but no need to go much higher as the clouds was around 1500 meters today

Haha, it was just to show the OSD in action, not to brag about altitude
1500 meters is not exactly a record (or a personal record)

GoPro video is rendering at the moment, but it's gonna take a while before rendering, upload and vimeo-processing is done.

I wasn't planning to upload the ground-recording, there is not really anything interesting to see - the OSD works as shown before and the GoPro footage is a lot better

This is what Picture in Picture was created for.

But I will just settle for the view.

My patience when it comes to video-editing on a laptop is more or less none-existing. :P
picture-in-picture is gonna be next time, when I can use my other pc

And yes, the view is very nice.
