So what is the verdict on this plane? Good FPV plane, not so good?
What are pros and cons, as compared to a Sky Walker? I'm on the fence between the Raptor and the Sky Walker.

Just got my raptor in. gonna build soon. I will swap out the esc with a 40a. Also i will put some cooling holes for more inlet for the motor. I will try the stock motor. the way it is setup the motor will overheat from lack of cooling.

The plane by its own is not that bad. It is made for FPW. The plastic fuselage give you lots of space for FPV stuff and lipos.
Most important things to do: throw away the cheap servos, replace the cheap ESC and the motor. Get some quality components.

Comparing with the Skywalker: I has a way more "sporty" or nimble feel than the Skywalker. It feels like a sports car against a heavy long haul truck.

Reg electronics, my esc was burned at first attempt. Servos are so noisy and weak. By the way I couldn't pull out wing servos.

Can you advice motor which you have.

Thanks

I have had no issues with the stock motor. Has been working great for almost 6 months.

The esc went up on the 3rd flight, my other one failed after about 20 flights..

Starting to put the plane together. Instructions are not that great. I mounted 2 horns on the elevator before i figured out one goes on the rudder and only one for the elevator. What is that square black piece of foam for? I will be using a better esc but i`m gonna try the stock motor. I remounted it because it was loose and the allens were not tight. Will be using a 2200 3 cell. 11v. lipo. Only going to be doing line of sight FPV for now.Fat shark pred.`s with 100mh VT.

Thanks, gives me something to work with... I bought this plane when it first came out, seems like they have added several feature to it now. Mine came with NO instructions at all... Anyways the 65mm I hope get me close so it don't dive an snap a wing first try.
