subscribing to this post...

I have an FpvRaptor (1,6 m), as my very first model in RC, and I'm very happy with it. Always flying on stock set up ( I get it RTF ), execept the rudder and elevator servors, that I changed for TowerPro MG90S because the original make malfunction on the elevator... but fortunatelly I check them before flying.

Now I'm planning to prepare it for FPV, I don't have any FPV equipment right now, and i prefer to start modifying the plane, with a better battery, esc and motor. For the motor I'm looking for something that fits in the supplied tower like the Alinshanmao 950kv, or the WireWolf Power 10, but I really dont where to begin hehehe

I'm following this two guys modifications for this planes, and specially liking the wirewolf ones....wow

Guys I need to sort batteries out for this as they couldn't be shipped with the plane do to air safety laws, what would you recommend?

I'm after as much juice as I can get without making it so heavy it won't fly. I will need lots of practise - first plane for me.

I use 2200 3S lipos in mine, i can easily get 20 mins flight time, the bay will easily fit a 5000 battery but you will have balance issues though

Great, thank you bignose.

I have ordered 4 x 3s 2200mah. I also ordered a parallel battery cable to run two together, though I might get issues with balance as you say.

Can't wait to get it up in the air.

For those that have ordered and received their FPV Raptor, how long did it take to ship?

This is a JIT item, so apparently needs to be collected from their other warehouse. Am I in for a lengthy wait?

The order has been printed and sent to their warehouse. Just curious.

WoW, what a beautiful flight, this coast is amazing. Here in Madrid there are only plain fields .

And by the way those vídeos with the GoPro have an excellent quality, and no vibrations at all. What is the approximate weight of the camera?

These are the specifications of the manufacturer:

Weight: 3.3oz (94g) incl. battery, 5.9oz (167g) incl. housing
