quick question

do you remove the covering on the elevator joiner bar before gluing it?

I know you are not supposed to on the horozintal stab but have never seen covering on the elevator joiner before.

No don't remove the covering on the joiner. The bond will be plenty strong.

No.

If someone removed it, it would not cause any particular problem, but we don't remove it.

you all know I missed out on the pre-order of the first batch due to unforseen circumstances....i was about 90 miles out in the gulf of Mexico fishing on an overnight trip when the first batch came and went......otherwise I would've been all-in.....

I'm gonna keep my order for mine from the 2nd shipment coming to K-town (since that order had other goodies with it too....) and I'm ordering another orange one shipped straight to Craig......that's the plan now....

Thank you for the consideration Craig...it lets me get the new plane out in front of people at an electric fly-in next weekend....everyone needs to see this plane huck....I flew Joe's a couple of times...it's GREAT!!

Started on mine last night, really like the blue scheme. Reminds me of the Osiris scheme quite a bit. Same blue/yellow/silver colors as the Osiris. Much darker blue than I was expecting from the original pic Ben showed us. But in a good way, it's very nice.
Looking forward to getting this one in the air! Still on the fence about mounting the wheel pants/fairing though. I left 'em off the baby Edge and was planning to do the same here, but the plane looks naked without 'em. I think I'm going to have to stick them on there

Yeah, I felt really bad for you that you missed the pre order. It sounds like a terrible situation being stuck out in the Gulf like that.

I'll take it to the UPS store today.
