I really miss my 57", great plane, I have all the guts for another 60"er, just waiting to see the new offering from 3dhs and the 60" laser from EF before I pull the trigger

If I were you I would just buy another 57 for now. 3dhs usually takes a while between when they announce something to when it is available.

Ordered a blue 1.5 buck huck from Esprit. Woot!

I think they are the only ones with these in stock, or at least the only ones I could find.

i figured you would like them. i dont think thats make'n your plane aggresive. this was my first 3d plane and coming from foamy 3d planes i thought it was kinda "quick" also. after alil bit of stick time, now im looking for something more violent the more you fly the buck 50 the more you will like it.

have you played with the CG yet?

I went with

http://www.headsuprc.com/servlet/the...iameter/Detail

They are a little fatter than I would like but they are just fine. They won't fit in the wheel pants. But they will be just fine for pants less flying. Lol. Probably be just fine for grass landing since they are a bit wider than the stock.

Of course pretty sure I won't be seeing grass for a while.

why i went with the dave brown wheels. they were a 1/2" super soft .

a dremel probably could make those fit your wheels pants.

yeah I think i'll just keep an eye out for ones that are slightly thinner to fit them in there. May order some of the ones you bought at some point.

And yes matt you will like this plane a ton. This is my first balsa plane and I love it. And its pretty sturdy as I found out the other day. LOL Inverted landing. Granted it was in 15 inches of snow but was still inverted landing. Changed battery and kept on flying. LOL

My 1.5 Buck Huck is here. Outer shipping carton had a big gouge in it, but the inner carton was fine. Glad 3DHS does such a nice job packaging. Going to start building this weekend, but it will be pretty slow due to a wrist / hand problem I am having. Argh.

Not from Orlando, but we've been here at Disney all week. Too bad no planes came with us. Leaving in the morning, have fun.
