Yes I am happy this plane has the wire gear as well.
I've been enjoying the Edge this weekend after not flying it much lately.
Watch in 720p.

yea i had a couple nose overs on my edge. seemed to be the only plane i had nose overs on. bending the LG alil forward does help. seems if i land on grass if i concentrate with coming in with just a tad bit more power and being alil smoother on the elevator at the last half a foot or so made my nose overs stop, along with the forward LG

With your higher kv motor, you'd probably be happier with a 13 or maybe even a 12 inch prop. Also, your motor won't have to work quite as hard to swing a smaller prop.

I think the best thing to do would be to pick up a few different props, say, a 12x6, 13x6.5, and a 14x5, and just experiment to see which works best for you.
yea what he said. if you dont have a watt meter id still try to pick one up there are many uses for them.

Thanks guys. I've actually just started working on them. Timing is very critical in determining the outgoing orientation. I can't come out the exact same way every time.

I want to "nothing special" fly like that each time! Great videos.

I miss my Edge. Must start fixing it this week, and hopefully the Orange ones will be in stock again soon.

Im selling my 3DHS 38" EPP Slick foamy that I just got new. Has night lights too.
GREAT for learning rolling harriers and hovering. Thats how I did it. My original got so worn out I retired it andfound a NIB one here (RARE!) on RCG. I'm not asking much for it. I can even throw in a Spektrum (Orange) RX so it's BNF for you.
Shoot me a PM if you're interested!
$150 BNF with two (2) GForce 3S 1000mAh 30C batteries
Light kit is an additional $35
Alex
(The airframe ONLY is $100 new, and this is like-new)

yea has saved me also. plus when im really stupid(like today) and flying in wind i shouldnt be flying in. elevator landings are more doable without breaking something with the wire LG.

Thought I lost my edge today. Ugh. LOL Was flying out of KE spin inverted rolled to KE, wind gust bounced me and lost orientation for a sec. Landed it inverted. Thought there was going to be significant damage to the plane. Walked out to it picked it up and went whew. Landed in 18 inches of snow. The cowl all the way back to the firewall was full of snow but pulled out the air compressor blew it all out and discovered ZERO damage to the plane. Thank you to the snowstorm this weekend. LOL Went on to put another flight on it and discovered a cracked wheel on the landing gear which I think may have been from last weeks pretty hard landing bounce in the wind. Got lucky this time. LOL
