I was talking about the D.A that was on it not your DLE .

I blew the dust off of my motor theory books from back in the day , and here's what i got from the facts

From the original weight of the yak with the Gas motor & fuel
20 lbs ...the D.A. produces 5hp .. 5hp is = to 3730 watts ....which is 186.5 watts per pound ....

The electric conversion weighs 21 lbs with a motor that produces 6.35 HP...which translates to 225 watts per pound

Let's go and say we put a DLE on it and it weighs in at 20 pounds the DLE makes 5.5 HP = 4103 watts .....205 watts per pound .

The electric performs better .

We haven't begun to even scratch the surface yet . these numbers are all baseline , the motor is rated to take even more . The best is that right now the way it sits it has surpased gas performance an is pretty efficient , in fact very .

The efficiency is calculated by power in / power out
So......5350 watts in / 4730 watts out = 87.3 %

Lots of facts .....And here are the numbers

D.A. 60 = 6hp and is 3.1 pounds , slightly heavier than the D.A. 50
6hp = 4476 watts on a 21 pound bird = 213 watts per pound

The electric still performs better .

Now lets talk price point of the D.A. 60
DA-60 Engine: $649
Slimline Pitts Muffler: $129.00
total $778.00

Turnigy Rotomax 50 cc $193.00
Castle Hv 160 $215.00
2 gens ace 6s5000 60c $220.00
total $628.00

That's sort of true , if you have a powerlab 6 your charge time is a whopping 6 min .

You need to remember my baseline numbers were figured with well used 25 c batteries . The 60c batteries should increase the output watts dramaticly .

Man with all them amps we are gonna have to go up on the dues power bill is going to double. Haha! Sounds like I need a power lab 6 and a 24volt power supply. Hmmm..... Sell the sbach and get me a 50cc setup. That would be nice in an aeroworks ultimate.

Well the Brown truck delivered my GP Sequence and the mail lady should be dropping off the rest of my order today. I'm not as savy on the electric setup as everyone else but I'm working on it. Here is my take on the power setup.....

4250\800 and 3300 4 cell 30c \w Airtronics precision = FUN

*these power numbers are just an estimate*
