Cool,another slick?

Ted and I got some flying done on Sunday, was quite nice out.
Was flying the 42 when I had a lockout in a tumble. All surfaces were stuck
at full deflection which ended up being a good thing. It just kindof flatspinned
into the ground.Landed just across the street in the dirt. Ripped a wing out, fixed in about 20 minutes.
The ar6110 receiver has a red blinking light for signal loss, and a orange light
for power loss, mine was blinking red. Hmmm
Sealed the hinge gaps on the 59 for curiosity, made a big difference on
high speed roll rate. Little better on elevator.
Ted was ripping it up with the Laser, looking to be a pretty sweet plane.
Dad turned 69 today, woohoo

It took me 30 years?!?!!!
It's a Yak.

Interesting on the Spektrum... Do you think one of those plug-in capacitors would help? If so, I've got a couple -- would be happy to give you one...!

I think the capacitors are meant to help with brownouts, but mine was a signal loss.
Weird, right in front of me too.

And on yet another note, Does Spencer have a 104,or is he getting one?
The kid would be rocking one if he gets it.
Saw his dad subscribed to the 104 thread on FG

They just bought a used CARF 100cc airframe, I assume he will use that for freestyle. Maybe he is going to be sponsored by CARF since his IMAC plane is also one.

It took me 30 years?!?!!!
So you got one of these?

I was at the car race place today. You sit and talk a lot (reminds me of club fields to some degree -- ha), but I got some good laps in today. Had been "fighting" the set up the last few weeks (proabably like heli set up when you don't have your personal friend/expert -- KEVIN, THAT'S YOU-- around to help with that stuff...) -- but made some progress today. I was pretty happy!

Yep, my GS 58" Edge. Had some issues though: Kontronik 55 A ESC is apparently not enough as motor would cut out on full throttle. Lost an SFG and two screws (thanks to Ben and Phil on retrieval), and unless I have some binding those airtronic servo's may not be worth a darn. My ailerons had some pretty significant centering issues now and again. They seemed to work ok for a bit, then would not center one way, then the other.

I get some pics on the ground which were usable if not great (again shutter was too slow)... I did bring out the full Edge lineup today.

Your latest foamy looks sweet as usual btw. I guess pretty soon you'll stop making those and just paint car bodies

Nah -- I need to keep making planes -- to fund my car racing fun!
