Wow, wish he had a canopy to go with it and/or a motor box. I repaired the rudder so don't think I need one now. With separate shipping I'm not sure I'd save any money getting the cowl from ADC.

Just installed and flew the Deplox on a Motrolfly DM2205-1800.
Wow, crazy power on the 8x4.3 prop. Flew 4 flights in a row and the motor
still wasn't warm. I'll have to try a 9x4.7 sometime
Love it.

If no one will be out tomorrow, I'll probably just fly my foamie in the dirt lot near my house.

Well it took Phil like 45 min to get from the freeway exit to the field There was crazy traffic today because of some "tough guy" race over at the old GM test grounds. There was a solid line of cars going into the place for at least 3 hrs. We had tons of traffic as folks were trying to get around the congestion. I decided to only fly the 104 twice. Of course no sooner do I break it down than things start calming down a bit Oh well, was out till about 3PM as it was.

We had Bill and a couple other old GQF folks drop by and fly a bit, apparently it was crazy windy out at AMA.

Teik-Ee showed up for a bit and chatted, flew my 48" EPP Extra, took some pics for me with my new lens (upload shortly).

Ted put his Yak in pretty hard, probably will not fix as he did not care much for it. He also had some problems with the 71" Slick motor late in the day and could not get in his last flight.

Chris showed up and flew for a bit, said he may have the 89" Slick out next weekend.

Phil got his VR-1 back in the air with his old roughed up cowl
