So I went to the Wild Animal Park in Camp Verde with my wife today. It is a very cool place, check it out if you get a chance.

Ok now for the plane stuff. Got the go ahead to get my very own 71 AJ Slick. The answer is no, I can't seem to order any other model. This will make slick # 6 if I get the 51 backup airframe from Dustywood next weekend.

Going to be a great Slickmas for me.

So I bet it went something like this...

"well gee, honey, Kevin has a 104" Slick. This one is only 71". See -- it's small...!"

Either that, or you agreed to remodel the kitchen. ha

You're close. It went like this. Plane, Plane and all she heard was Pla...Bla, bla, bla.

Jewelry store for her present. OK, I guess another plane is OK. Wait how many do you have already.....What's the name of the jewelry store. OK, sounds like you will like it.

I guess you could also say "a Slick is the only kind of airplane I have..." Sounds kinda like just one plane.

Nah, my wife wouldn't but that either...

Moltrolfly installed in the 59,very nice winding job.
The physical size of the motrolfly is a tad smaller, but it weighs 1.3oz more.Fired it up with a Falcon 15x7 from ADC,sounds sweet, didnt wattmeter it though.
Teds building his 46 yak, nice looking plane

Weighs more, eh? Theoretically more watts then? Did you measure the watts with the old motor with the same prop? Would be curious to know how they compare...

Got the old motor watts with an APC 15x7,around 1100 with the 710kv Gforce40, I'll swap the prop back and see what I get on the 750kv Motrolfly.
Just hope it's a long lived motor this time

So.......... what's the weekend report?

How'd all the new equipment, etc. work? Did John S fly the 104"?

No flying means I need to live vicariously through you all...!

Motrolfly was great. Ted snapped the gear off in two places(different landings) on the yak. Must have been bad gear, they were mellow landings. Flew the yak briefly, think I like more than the 42,fun plane.
