Sorry to hear about the new plane Kevin. Sounds very fixable though. You'll be back in the air in no time.

Great weekend of flying guys, bummer on the 104 damage. Luckily it's not too bad

Meh, just a flesh wound Sent email to 3DHS support Sun night asking if I could buy hinges from them or where I may find them. Early Mon I had a response from Noll saying he'd send me out a few. I replied back about 2 min later that I was going to order up replacement wheel pants and he could ship the hinges with those, but Noll said he had already mailed the hinges

Hey Cecil, you need to get out one weekend and fly with us... and take a pull on the 104! I was telling Btsai in email that the 104 is probably much safer with any of you guys flying it. I seem to have lost that fear one normally gets with a new plane, even one much bigger than the rest of one's fleet It is quite possible that is all just a side effect of a loss of sanity

It took me 30 years?!?!!!
Anyone off tomorrow? Our office is open -- but I'm taking the day off. Hitting the bowl for just a short while mid-am.

So now they're saying rain not until Sun?

Kevin -- will the 104" be operational again soon?

I'll be working, yea fun

Seems different sites have different forecasts, I'll stick with the hopeful ones

Working Fri.

104" will be operational but may be "R" rated due to not having pants

Replacement pants will not be here till Tues next week.

I fixed trailing edge of rudder Tues night, pretty easy. Last night I got replacement hinges. It was actually really easy to cut out the old hinges from fuse. All hinges on rudder side looked fine. I had to glue some wood around one of the fuse hinges first, then expoxy in the three replacement ones. Feels good as new

I have a bit more ultracote patching to do tonight. I CA'd the prop tip and need to sand it a tad and perhaps the other side to match..

What do you mean RE-balance, that sounds like I balanced it the 1st time I probably should try to check it I guess... probably take longer to take off and put on than it did to fix the rudder

A couple guys at work talked about hitting the bowl over lunch tomorrow, I may bring the foamie.

I'm going to EVA on Saturday for the swap meet, hopefully I can sell some nitro stuff that I've had sitting around for too long. Weather only shows a 10% chance of rain on Saturday now, looks like it moved to that night and Sunday.
