And get a load of the guy having to carry his plane up the hill! Which makes me wonder if that slope is a "drive-up"? Thanks for posting this Steve -absolutely beautiful location and great flying too.

Damn .... What a great Site to "Soar" at ... Really makes me wish I could find a suitable site in Yosemite, to be Brave enough to "launch" from ...

That would be the Ultimate High ...

Those slopes are absolutely *not* drive up! In fact, at some (many?) of the resorts, you are required to leave the car down in the town below and take a gondola up. And then hike along the ridge to the flying site... so yeah, they have to grunt a bit to make it happen! And imagine if you have to land out...
