t50 mod


has any one heard much about the t50 mod timber built yachts they seem cheap considering all you need is batteries and varnish they dont say what servos and winches they use would they keep up with a 10 rater

On the basis that a lot of 10R competitions seem to be won by modified Marbleheads, my guess would be that the T50 might have a bit of a job keeping up with the fastest. The sail servo is said to be a Hitec drum winch.

I don't thik Tippecanoe sell on this side of the Atlantic. Seems that they're missing out a bit as a 50" boat at that price with radio included seems good value, though about twice the size that would interest me.

Martin, the Tippecanoe boats are shipped worldwide. And the owner pictures show boats shipped to many countries.

I really meant that I have never seen any major European distributor handling them. I'm sure a few brave souls could have handled the importing themselves.

Well, I don't know what the problem is in your location requiring brave souls, but it's not the same everywhere in the world.
