Cash in hand ready to order the plane and retracts. How nice of them to announce this on payday.

Maybe Matt or someone from HH can answer this, but how large is the battery compartment compared to the P-47? I have some Gens Ace 3300 and 2500 3S batteries that fit the P-47 just fine but are too big for my T-28. Which is fine because I get enough flight time on that with the 2200s I have. With the same power system as the P-47 though, I'm hoping I'll be able to fit my bigger batteries.

Not fair! First, I got excited about the SE5. Then the Hawker hurricane and now this. Unfair.

As the fuselage of the Spitfire is alot smaller than the P-47 there is not as much room inside. A 2200mAh 3 cell battery is about as big as you can fit without removing foam.

Can anybody tell by the photos if it has a scale three blade prop or a dorky 2 blader? Looks like a 2 blader to me.

Mod #1 find suitable 3 blade spinner and prop and motor combo to spin it.

Matt: Ok, thanks! Can you tell us what kinds of flight times you get off the stock system? I'd imagine that with the smaller front profile, this thing should be faster than the P-47!

Flight time is about 7 to 10 mins depending on how you are on the throttle. Speed seems about the same as the P-47 but we have not done a side by side comparison either. There is the drag of the radiator scoops on the bottom that is slowing it some too, but you can't have a Spitfire without the radiators.
