building a flat foamie

Hi i am new to building,
This is why i got this cheap flat foamy from bphobbies http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id...23&pid=V086484
My question is this, how do i mount the motor on the wood that is in the kit? do i glue it? drill holes and connect with screws? both? none of the above?
Another thing is should i cut the pushrods? they are quite long
Thanks very much

Use screws to attach the "X" mount on the motor to the wood motor mount. The pushrods should be adjusted to the appropriate length. (yes, if they're too long you have to cut them )

Make sure the 4 screws that hold the X mount to the motor are TIGHT and have been threadlocked in place

I will, thanks guys
When you say threadlock, do you mean blue loctite?
And what kind of drill should i use on the wood motor mount?
Thanks

Blue thread lock is a better application for metal to metal contact. If you intend to apply metal to wood or plastic, try a little dab of Gorilla glue on the screw threads before binding them into the wood or plastic. It will secure them well and won't be so tough to replace later or require the need for heat to loosen as with thread lock.
