San Francisco Cliffs Sloping Video

Finally got around to editing a bunch of video of sloping a certain cliff in San Francisco. Features the original Jart, Moth, Patriot, Aircobra, Thierry's retro glider, F3F, hangliders, paragliders and hawks, and an amazingly mood-setting music selection (ha!). Enjoy. :-)

Click on full screen; it's HD!

Jeez, Reed looking pretty serious, errr I mean focused! What was up with the Coast Guard chopper down on the beach?

Nice vid. I would love to have seen the landing approaches for those F3X ships!

Nice video, looks like an awesome cliff! DCU dragonfly needs a new canopy! That packing tape isn't so elegant, haha.

Allright! Great stuff and a nice vibe, two solid thumbs up! Im lucky that I spent the whole day yesterday sloping, otherwise there would have been lots of angst now.

That was by far the best sloping segment I have ever seen on the groups.

Thank you!

Great video. We flew in that very spot late last year. Didn't have nearly the kind of lift you guys were enjoying.

South of Ft. Funston on a 450' cliff- 2x Funston size. All that video was taken on on light to moderate wind days. When it blows hard there, all hell breaks loose. A few weeks ago Reed was flying a 90 oz. white Jart that you built in 42mph wind. Insane energy- 400'+ loops and seemingly endless uplines. Inspired me to get some more video, so standby!

Winterstick I remember back in the day you were one of the first people to get an HD camcorder. Stoked to see you using it! Those coastal flying sites are natural amphitheaters and I never get tired of seeing them, or you guys flying them. I seem to remember some video of you and your buddies flying Yaks off the coast there that wasn't too shabby, either...

I was feeling a bit tense this (Sunday) morning... maybe it was seeing/hearing all our nice wind on a "no fly" day... or just one too many cups of coffee. However after watching this video I am feeling very mellow.

Thanks for a very enjoyable video... beautiful location, great looking gliders flown by quality pilots, and excellent video/editing/music.
