Ekey thump is a Lancastrian phrase..and as you know, Yorkshire and lancashire still have passport control with each other, for very good reason. We cannot allow those heathens to have designs on our good county. The unenlightened might think we're a little old fashioned, but what do they know?

I managed to get some of fellow club mate's SR...It's very yellow! Plus his 4 metre Pilatus..both very fast, very smooth. The Stingray eerily silent.

Is it a coincidence that AndyB was flying his WAM Ray on Sunday while I was following him up with my Karel Vagenknecht B4.

It was a nice day

[QUOTE=Stevepilot;18566514 would it be okay to plug the fly-in at Callow Bank in July?
It is aimed at scale gliders, but if you haven't got one, come along with what you have (non powered) as we'll have slots through the day for different catagories..and no, they won't all be allowed to fly at the same time: D![/QUOTE]

Hi Steve,

Just a quick note to say that the Wolves Club have their Scale day on July 10th. It takes place on the Long Mynd, so probably best to try to avoid that weekend. No point in clashing.

just found this thread. I read through it and wondered if I knew the "English" language at all. Does anyone know of a universal language translator for this thread?

LOL! Heard about it on the local news- it took place at 08.30 Sunday.(I was having my porridge at the time)

Jeez, the sea temperature here now is only 13degC! There must have been lots of shrunken bits and nipples like organ stops

I know I always seem to be swimming agains the waters, but this is all a load of bs.

It will never be as it was. it will always be more fragmented.

Some times people just need to chill out, and go gliding.
