Regarding the rssi I can't find reading instruction the type of signal. Someone that use Dragon Link and RVOSD can tell me what's the correct choice... Analog or Packet 1 ?
Id better stay on the RVOSD page here. Could you show how. Im going to redo mine tonight. I need to get alot of wires out of my bay. So servos plug into rvosd outputs and 1 in elivator to DL rx ppm ch9 or ch12?

The way of being is doing.

Consider that ch9 is printed incorrectly... connect servo plug in ch12 (although in truth it would be ch9) and the other side in elevator in on rvosd.

Then go in main mený page 4 and select:

R/C receiver connected: YES

Rx input Type: Combined PPM

Finally go above in PPM configuration and select the correct function watching to values that change.

I'm pretty sure you should use Analog.

Ok, pluged in and im getting no value change. Servos are in out ch. And DL has 1 plug in on ch12 the ppm to rvosd to elev. Did i miss anything? Menu screen is set as above.

Thanks. Do you suggest to solder the resistor on rssi signal wire ?

Better than James Brown??
Good stuff. Glad you got it sorted. This stuff sure challenges the patience. If I might make a suggestion, but yourself some spares like extra Vtx, camera, leads and VRx. Its a bugger trying to debug video problems when you havent got anything to swap with. Inevitably at some stage during setup or installation you may lose video, and where to begin??? Having extra hardware means not having to wait for new stuff and simplifies debugging too.
Cheers and enjoy

APM2 + minumOSD costs around $287 excl. postage (excl. current sensor), RV-OSD is $299.

Can someone who has used both give me an objective comparison?
Hi,
I have both...by not very computer savvy, do you mean your friend is not technical? If so, go with RVOSD. It is way more consumer friendly.
The two are mostly equal functionality when it comes to FPV'ng, however, if you want telemetry, UAV and a more feature rich GS, the APM2 is the way to go.
So we don't hijack this thread, PM me if you have specific questions.
Best,

i just wonder, what is the average time for startup, initializing of gps etc..? i tried my setup, im using lawmate 1W transmitter and it takes about 5-7 minutes before i get a signal of 1.3-1.5 HDOP, no difference if its 0,5 meter or 1 meter between GPS and transmitter.

I just depends on if it is the same location you flew the previous time. Normally my GPS intializes in about 2-3 min. for the first flight and about 10-20 sec. for the following flights. I am also using 1.3ghz 1 watt VTX. It could be noise from another source, maybe camera. You could try using torriods on the camera leads and also the GPS leads.

I changed FrSky receiver with DL Rx receiver and I changed Hitec radio with Futuba T12FG and DL module.

Is it necessary to remake R/C Wizard and setup again Set throttle FS detect ?
