If I didn't know how big that Wisel actually is I would think is was being launched by somebody the size of a Lego-man.

Mega Wiesel

Finally managed to maiden my Mega Wiesel and I am very happy with the result. Slow, graceful, highly visible (due to size and colour). Loops easily, but can't fly inverted (none of my Wiesels can; probably the airfoil). Built using a light EPS with no spar and little tape. Maidened in 10-12 kts of wind; I suspect it can handle less wind too.

Wiesel Mega - Build and Flight (4 min 23 sec)

This one's a keeper and so is the Wiesel Light (post #2739). The standard Wiesel (post #2715) is nice too. I never warmed to the micro wiesel (post #2725), so it has been decommissioned. Flew OK, but too small for the slope.

Wiesel Light - Build and Flight

It seems I never posted my Wiesel Light video in this thread, so here we go. Probably my favourite Wiesel of the four variants I've built. Flew in 4 kts of wind (just...).

Wiesel Light - Build and Flight (8 min 31 sec)

Apologies if I'm double posting.

I've learned a new word

Yes I believe that's correct....scaled up in all dimensions. Including in the "awesomeness" dimension.

No, I think the awesomeness is squared, not linear. At least!

Your video made me want to cut new cores this weekend : )))

PS: please consider making a video on how you cut your cores, particularly for the Mega Wisel.

Will do. I deliberately didn't cover that in any build video as there are many other core cutting videos, but sure why not.

I use less beer than SpeedsterDEN and I do it without help. I think SpeedsterDENs approach is better on both accounts.
