Occasional useful idiot...
And your point is?

The Army/Navy/Air Force would place similar restrictions on how people dress.

They are simply pointing out that professionals should LOOK professional.

More NHS twoddle.

Come back FP, all is forgiven.

Actually, MOST places have regs on dress. How sad is it that people need to be reminded? I've seen job ads that say "professional dress."

The corporation I work for has similar dress code as well. Nothing stupid about it. Its called professionalism (even so, i personally wouldn't mind if some of the women showed a little more cleavage or midrif)

Um ... if they get rid of cleavage ... what's next? Outlaw French Maid outfits? The only reason why I even go to the doctor's office is for the off chance of seeing hottie nurses with ample cleavage!

Then you just don't appreciate good nurse cleavage.

Hey, are you trying to get me to lose my Man Card!

Of course I appreciate 'nurse cleavage' (well, almost any cleavage, actually.. - I put the 'almost' in in case Usta pipes up with some of his gross piccies! )

Just didn't think there was any need to be disgusted about 'stupid' NHS dress code..
