If I had not put the top panels on, i would consider it.

But it is going faster as I remember how to do it.

A pic of the rudder hinge and Vstab faring. I put a little "wash" on the hinge detail to get it to show up for this pic. You can make the details more pronounced or subtle with a wash.

Wife's help with her paper cutting machine for the hinge pattern and a few days of dish washing and cleaning house.

Update.

Inspired by the progress by turbonut, Invertmaster. and Airsally's work, I started hustling a bit to reach their progress.

In the boards with bondo!!

The creature is a clay reproduction that my kid made and will be the first test pilot.

It's a pokemon thing called Tepig

Thanks Guys

S&W Plastics, acrylic 1/2 spheres . Around 1/2" at base. Smaller ones are hard to keep clean on the dimple side when waxing and molding.

Typical mold work.

I reused the parting boards by putting the stands on the other side to create a opposing side to support the glass molded side of the fuse.

Hard to see in the pics is the clear packing tape I put on the outer edge of the glass mold. This will keep the 2nd 1/2 mold glass bonding to the untrimmed 1st 1/2 since I can't really put any mold release on it.. The tape will also show where the two molds will meet and make it easy to split later for it's 1st time.

Almost there.
