Mini SPAD WW I biplane preview by HK

Spad - HobbyKing Product Sneak Preview (4 min 55 sec)

I'd love to have that one - in the size of the new PZ SE 5a biplane...

cheers

I love the "full sized" Vieux Charles at Old Rhinebeck in New York; I've never ordered from HK, but this might do it . . .

Any and all WW1 biplanes are welcome and enjoyed by many
I would also like this size Spad . It really looks good !

I am anxious to see how it flys compared to the EFlite SE5a and Fokker DVII , and the Electrifly Sopwith Pup , they all can fly at realistic WW1 speeds , not like a P-51 .

I hope they scale it up a bit more,I love the WW1 birds but they really need to do a bit more work to make it look realistic. Not being a dick, just saying it would be great if it were a bit more scale.Keep em coming. Brutus

too much tail?

not disappointed to see this at all but looks like the tail feathers are about 150% scale size?

A bit, and the color's a shade off, but still a step in the right direction, I think.

What is it with HK using that guy for those previews? How unprofessional can you get?

There's nothing wrong with the guy. Have you thought that he might be the owner or someone senior in the company? Why spend big money to get a polished ad when the only relevant thing is the plane?

He is a sexy beast. Just get the plane on the shelves, I hate seeing these ads and then waiting 8 months to purchase the plane.

Perhaps it's because that guy is at work, not a professional presenter, doing what he does and a new model comes in for assessment and the company wants to share it so films a little sneak preview warts and all (The MODEL is the focus of attention surely) within an hour of it coming in see you can see a genuine reaction, one flyer to another?

now for the HK fligth review

seems to fly very well, a bit fast for my taste as far as biplanes are concerned.

Spad - HobbyKing Skunkwerks Series (4 min 50 sec)
