Please define "a snails pace".....
I have heard someone explain that phrase before, but the explanation just doesn't fit the picture, here.....

Why you swing so hard?

Andre, I used the throttle stick on my Kamelot (1512/1d/6.7, CC125, 4s, 17x18 prop). But I never used partial throttle and only short bursts. Nothing wrong using throttle on a stick with a 200amp setup with a CC125. Just be aware of how much time you spend in between on and off.

If you keep using the stick. I might suggest setting your high EPA over 100%. Mine is on a slider set at 115% EPA to help insure the ESC see's 100% throttle on.

We all know "why" it's better to use a switch. I know of more than one person that has been using stick without any problems. It's a choice/chance you have to decide........

I just do not like making to many changes at one time.I would like to get used to the power and launch of the 5S with the smaller prop, then once I am there and if the plane is in one piece, I will toss on the 16X17 and put the throttle to switch.
