wouldn't suggest 4S NiMh anyway.. especially not with 2,4 gear.. 5S minimum NiMh I believe, if you absolutely MUST use NiMh..

The only way to find out is too test the snot out of it, and use the A9 telemetry to tell you whats up. Nimh suck, and how well they perform is depends on bunch of stuff, including age.
It will probably work just fine.
A few years ago, when weight was more critical in F5B models, we used to use small packs like that.
They perform fine as long you treat them right. In fact, I still use a 4-cell nimh pack, though a bit larger in size.

Give the pack a slow forming charge, then several charge/discharge cycles to measure the mah capacity. It can take 5 or more cycles to come up to capacity.
Then, charge before the flight and verify voltage with a loaded voltmeter.
If the pack it not used regularly, you will need to repeat the forming/charge/discharge routine to "wake it up" again.

Good luck,
Lenny

What Amp rate would be a good slow forming charge Lenny?

It's a 250mah pack, I was thinking 1C, but I guess that is not slow.

No, that's not a slow charge rate.
Forming charge should theoretically be done at about 1/10C, or 25ma for 10-14 hours for this pack.

1/10C would be 25mA, or .025A.

Just saying...

Does the X wing not have a rear spar ? I am working on the wing, and looking at pics from Jacko and Lenny, and i amazed at how far back they have the servo wiring exiting.

There is a rear spar.
It splits right at the middle of the wing.

Not really, the drag/rear spar does not go through the middle of the wing section.

If you put the hole in the middle of the wing center you should be fine.
