How to find the C/G of a delta wing?


Does anyone know a formula to find the C/G of a "typical"
delta wing aircraft?

I've made some "test gliders" for " future projects" ( that haven't happened yet ) and found that finding the point on the wing where 25% of the area is ahead of the cg and 75% behind is close. Thats what the 1/4 size all sheet balsa glider was for, to refine this starting point.
Turned out not to be a big issue, just like any other plane.

Easy to play with cg on those. Just a little bit of "up" elevator is needed with the nose weight to balance it out in flight for free flight.

BTW, the gliders flew very well and were really stable.

Seeing the glider fly gives confidence on the first flight of the real thing.

The c.g. on a flying wing can vary depending on which type of airfoil is used... a reflex or symmetrical. The reflexed type likes a forward position.. abt 12-15%.. the symm type can fly at 25%.
Most c.g. programs presume you know where you want it in terms of the m.a.c., and find the m.a.c., and if you can input a number, give you the location at the root.
