How did you get around the connector problem? Did you change all the plugs?
i went the ARF model bought 3.6g? servos and used my own 8-10A ESC i reckon i may be able to fit everything if i place the ESC inside of the duct but im sure that would create a lot of drag so im in a sticky situation

Well, I'd gotten an F-35 with a busted tailpiece (at the servo socket), and a couple Panthers with warped tailpieces... and of course the whole fan thing....

There's an assumption there that QC inspection actually exists somewhere in the process.

Well, just to say mine (Mig15) flies fine straight out of the box. Thunderpower 65C 325mAh 2S and Flydream 1g Rx. CG was spot on. Minor warp on the top of the fin straightened with a little twist.

Considering my primitive flying skills, I was surprised how well it went. Fast response to ailerons but quite manageable and seemed stable to me. Plenty of thrust. I am quite impressed by the power train in this cheapo mass produced product. Servos seem fine in mine.

Couple of issues:

1) One wing popped off in a fairly light tumble. Barely glued.
2) It's so small a big white dog nearly ate it when it landed.

It doesn't glide power off all that well.

Wow. 2 totally opposite reviews.
jj604- do you think it flies slow enough for an indoor session?
Gazza-that sucks. Looks like some tinkering is in order...

Sounds like something is wrong. What battery?

Mine climbed away well from a light hand toss. Set up with all the control rods in the outer holes as recommended.

These things are obviously warp magnets. Worth checking the tailplane.

I will try and find the time to do a test run on the bench so folks have some idea what sort of current and voltage mine is running at.

Not with me at the controls! I find a Vapor a challenge indoors.

I just don't have enough experience of indoor fliers to say but I would think you would need a really big venue. Or be a really sharp stick man with teenager reflexes. It moves pretty fast.

I know it doesn't sound like much but I'd be taking the bombs/droptanks off. The added drag plus weight would be hurting it. I have had similar experiences with larger models and the bombs/drop tanks tend to make quite a difference.
