gionir,
Maybe check your finger positions at release. Click on my username to get to my blog where I talk about how my first EDF hand launch went bad due to improper throw technique. Unlike prop planes, EDFs are not very forgiving to bad techniques.

Have our expectations of customer service fallen so low that the above is presented as good luck? Doesn't sound like it to me!

Has anyone else hopped up their power system yet? So much talk was to be had when these first came out but I haven't seen one other faster jet yet. How did the lighter mods go with you guys? I still plan to drop a 30mm unit in for indoors and hope I can turn tighter than the walls...

I thought going to 3s counted as a hop up?

I would've considered that more of a minimum mod to get it to fly... LOL

Yep...that's about right. But it was a quick and effective mod. What other mods can you recommend that I probably wouldn't have thought of. I'm thinking of buying another MIG....

4s and I thought it was an accomplishment finding a way to fit in 3s....lol On the next one if anything I'll go with Nitro's pulse unit on 3s. But again I need a new airframe. I wish HK would restock their individual parts list for the mig...

And since I'm from California it seems to be more cost effective to just purchase from Banana hobby over HK...

4s 360 fit without any 'major' changes. It just meant a fairly heavy (~105g) jet.
Stock fan, Plush10 ESC.

Still not as fast as NC's setup though. The stock fan never did sound or perform as well as NCs frankenfans.

Hey pdawg, if you do order from BananaRama, can you please order an extra Mig cockpit for me... pretty please? HK don't stock them and I've butchered the one on the red Mig.

I took video of the cavity I carved out of my Mig to fit the 850 3S in but haven't done anything with the vid yet. The weekend is looking good for videoing flights so I'll edit it in if we do video any stuff.

Volkswagens never did have a good heater, but that one might work.

On the contrary, in Australia they were perfectly adequate - until the heater cable broke (which it always did) and then they ran at full blast all the time. VW's with perspiring passengers and all the windows open were a common site in summer.
