Finally got the launches nailed on the Mig-29. This thing is a nice floater.
kinda bounces on landings though. There's not much weight so no damage.

Very nice.
To solve the bounce on landing, you could always try the vertical, nose first approach (lawn darts), but I believe that's not really recommended.

Mig-29 throttle diff mix for a 4CH Rx (2nd ESC plugged in rudder port)

I had to use 4 mixes on my DX8. It can be turned off and on using the Mix switch.
I leave it off most of the time as I do not like how the plane flies with it on. Tried a few hammerheads and they looked ugly - definitely not as nice as the A-10 hammerheads.

Thanks, yea I figured it might not be so good with the motors being so close, but I'm hoping it can help when I taxi, mine just goes in circles.

Anyone have any 35mm EDF motors from one of these jets left over? I have a few projects where I need the motors (fan too if you have it).

Joe,
What throttle setting did you use for that MiG toss?

I have the mig and the sabre and use a 6amp esc with a 3 cell 11.1volt 250mah battery. The things just wouldn't fly on 2 cell but they are perfect on the bigger battery. You really need to dial down the rates. I think mine are in the 50-60% range with 25% expo. These are the coolest little jets and they will slow right down for a landing. I pretty much ran the sabre straight into a fence and only mushed the nose a little. It easily straigtens right up. Too bad that there aren't super micro retracts.

I was just given the A10 for a birthday present. This will be my first nano, third plane ever. I have a Futaba transmitter and I am not sure what receiver I should purchase, or if any modifications need to be made because of possible polarity issues. There are not many post referencing Futaba in this thread.

Any help you can provide, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

If you are using 72mhz, here is the receiver you need:
