They've arrived at hobbyking.... Hooray!

Mig-29 (PNF version)

A-10 (PNF version)

Now... wait for ARF or KIT version or get this? I want to run on 3S so those included ESCs are of questionable value.

Oh dear. It seems I may have jumped the gun. I thought $90 was a bit rich for the Mig so ordered the kit parts while I was at work using my phone. I didnt realise you cant get the EDF units seperately. I was thinking twin 40mm but looking at the pic there is barely any foam to remove to make it fit.
So my next question is, what options are available? Where can one buy the necessary 35mm EDF units?

Tempted ...

I did put in my basked a Mig from parts (was already 0 stocks, so you AU guys got all what was available already) ...

Adding servo and ESC, is 44$ ... plus is missing still the EDF unit, that cost a fortune ... shipping is cheap only 6$ ... but ...

I think I will pass on it

I hope in a Mig with twin 50mm, that's will be much better

Nitro would the AEO-RC 35 with ADH100 11000KV motor work in these do you think?

I was wondering about that myself.

However if the specs are to be believed, it's a nasty fan.
Lots of thrust but look at the amps!
To run a twin, you'd need a hefty battery. Which means hefty weight.

But that's if the data is right.

In other news, you can now get the AEORC EDFs from eBay and they are cheaper than anywhere else including HK (price war these if you've just bought one) ... and shipping for free.

It's tempting to buy one to try it out and finally get some user data on it.
