3mm depron CAP

I received 10 sheets of 3mm Depron from Stringfly a while back and have been sitting on iy for a while unsure of what to build. With all the 3d ships floating around, I figured it was about time for me to try my hand at one. I pulled these plans from somewhere a while back, and am unsure of whose they are (sorry)...

length 21
weight so far is 3.5ozs, I;m shooting for 6.5 or 7 (I hope).
motor is ips a with 9x7
picos, r4 and the 100esc

Think it'll do alright ? or should I go to dual ips D and 12x6 ?

It looks a lot like the Extra 300, one of David Theunissen's excellent "Tiny Treasures" from his web site http://www.flyelectric.ukgateway.net/

Mine weighs 180g with 2 x 1020 LiPolys, and flies very well with a GWS A drive and a 9070 prop. It goes even better, and easily hovers, with 3 x 640 LiPolys, but the poor little IPS only lasts about 10 fun packed flights at this voltage. I have ordered an IPS dual, which will run on the 3 cells, and should last longer. With this power I will add a rudder.

Let us know how your's flies.

MGoddard, Great looking plane...... Gosh are those ailerons big enough!!!! Just looking at them scares me....he he he. You might try a GWS 300 for motor life or a nice Astro 010 brushless (but expensive , like the razors). A twin will work nice.... I have a 4.8 twin D on my Nemesis and it rocks..... I put my other twin a 7.2 A on warp 9 thing and it works great with a 12X 6 but will probably eat the motors in time. String
