I have not had the chance to finish it yet due to work around the house but hope to get back on it today.
Pleased to hear you are planning a bigger one,my one is scaled for a 35" ws which suits my available gear.
The Kfm2 40% wing works really well on my sons Big Nasty so I am sure it will suit this one.

Keep you updated on its progress.

well my 20"version sort of broke in half from a 12" off the deck knife edge i learned to do until i unlearned and the plane went back to my normal skills.

the 30" version I was flying in the poo video was one I built for a freind but I need something for some gear I have here so I want a 30" or bigger for me to fly. and this will be a fast build since I have done it before and know the week spots to fix with a little balsa for strength.

Yes....lots of pics of your new build. Interested in any strengthening tips you learned.

Happy building!

My hovercraft is full of eels.
This is pretty sweet. I just printed the plans for a 32" version. I'm thinking of a KFM4 wing out of 6mm with 3mm steps on the top and bottom. I'll start on it later tonight after Torchwood.

I am also doing a 32" ws with a kfm4 I am using dollar tree foam but I did make a couple changes to the plans i will post up what I have changed so far.
I placed the wing lower and I will be cutting the elevator to make the fuse look a little cleaner(not so many holes)

holes for kfm 4 will need to be adjusted they are more for reference

For some strange reason......I believe I have time to build your plane now!?!

My nieces are gonna be sooooo mad at me! I'm seeing them Monday. Maybe I can get it built by then?

Ack! I know that plane from the other Sbach full fuse thread.

Got my wing done last night. It's nice and stiff with the spar hidden under the KFM steps. Doesn't really look like a good weekend for flying so I'm taking my time on this one. It should fly tomorrow if I can catch a break from the wind and rain.

Thanks for the updated plans. I like the lower wing. I will modify the plans I already printed to match as I go along.

The glue is dry and mine is ready to fly this morning. I'm pleased with the weight. I don't have a scale here but it feels nice and light. Should fly great. I have various motors to try but first up is the good ol' Blue Wonder with a 9x3.8 prop.

Update: Successful maiden. Flies nice and slow. Hovers nicely with the Blue Wonder and a 3S 370 mAh pack stuck to the back of the firewall. Harriers seem pretty solid. I'll have some 3S 800 mAh packs for it soon.
