Park Flyer Smoke System (With Pics)

Check out what the Charlotte Sunday flyers skunk works has been up to. Hint: The "skunk works" is so named for the smell.

This is a GWS Cub with Eps300c and Lipos. No, that is not the battery smoking!

Here it is on take off. Note the Skunkworks offices and research lab clearly visible to the right. This is where most of the brainstorming takes place.

Chuck,
If I told you right away you would be so dissapointed.

I got some smoke balls from the fireworks stand but I've been afraid to put one on one of my foamies> can you imagine what it would look like if the plane caught? On second thought I've got a Funnypark I am about ready to retire. Might be fun.

Keith Shaw used to demo fly his big Waco with smoke, but I think AMA rules were changed and onboard pyrotechnics were dis-allowed.

It does look very cool though

CRCM-
Sort of like "Posted speed limits", it is useful to know when and by how much you are over.
As I recall the smoke bomb Keith used made a bit of a mess of the back of the model. How about yours?

The 3 minute smoke canisters that you buy from the fireworks store works well too. Straps right on to most landing gear.
