Diesel i miss the first thread man , was I late also fly ducted fan jets basically still a newb in the racing boat , been testing the UL 1 with some new 65 c pak

All good.... How's those 65c packs? What brand? I been looking at moving to edf planes, I'm not the best pilot that's for, decent amount of 4ch time and I only crash when im trying to do stupid moves lol... Any advise for a first edf?

Hobby People sells the Phase 3 EF-16 and it's a fantastic 1st EDF. In stock form it's good for about 80-85 but still light enough to slow down to a brisk walking speed for landing. It also lends itself well to modding with larger fans. I've had about 5 of them including one that was about a 140 mph bird.

Took a few minutes to find it but here a clip of one of mine performing at an airshow a couple of years ago. Thie one had (key word "had". A radio failure killed it last year) a HET6904 fan with 3W motor running 4s along with some other mods and custom paint.

Phase3 EF16 Modded (5 min 4 sec)

Thanks for the info guys, I will look into those. I took the P51 for a maiden today (its a 800mm from NP), flew very nice until I put it in the dirt lol... Did some crazy moves and didn't have enough altitude to recover, complete user error. Only the plastic spinner broke. I would love to get a HABU been eyeing them up for a while, but maybe I should start with a cheap $100 edf first lol since I KNOW i will crash.... Been looking at the Eurofighter from NP, nice price. I LOVE PZ planes though there sweet, sorry to take this thread off topic.... We can cont. back to the PB boat lol... Sorry for the side action
