Question

gws pico tiger moth with park 250?

hi, i just ordered a GWS pico tiger moth. I have a eflite park 250 brushless motor laying around. i was wondering if it will be enough power for it?
I am worried it will not.
Thanks.

That particular plane needs very little power to fly, especially indoors. (not familiar with the 250 however)

That would be fine on a 2 cell and a bit fast on a 3 cell.

I fly one on a Park 250 with a 1000 mah 2 cell lipo. It works very well.

The Park 250 is a lot more powerful than the stock motor that comes with the Pico Moth. You will have all the power you need...

ok, thanks. one more question, what prop should i use?
I currently run a gws 7x3.5HD prop. i tried a 8x3.8 before, and the motor would cut off if i went 3/4 throttle, because it was pulling too many amps.
so will my current prop be fine?

Thanks again!

GWS 7x3.5 HD prop is perrrrfect for the Park 250.

I am using a GWS zero eight forty three - seems to work fine for me. I am guessing either one of the props you mentioned would work, but I am not really a prop expert so hopefully someone else will chime in for you.
