I like to fly!

Seagull Edge 540 .60

Anyone have it? I'm picking one up from a guy I know on Monday. Just wondering if anyone had any reviews/advice.

Seagull has a tendency to be inaccurate regarding suggested CG. Has this airplane been flown? An Edge 540 60 with a Saito 100 would typically need aprox 6 oz. of lead in the nose to balance.

I have the Seagull Edge 540 46 with a Saito 80. I have a ton of lead in the nose.

The Seagull Edge 540 60 is generally thought of as a really good airplane but if it hasn't already been set up and flown and set up I'd be careful regarding what is formerly and potentially a tail heavy factory recommendation.

Naw, I bought it built, but never had an engine installed or anything. I'll make sure to check that when I'm setting her up. I picked it up today. Very nice looking! I'm quite impressed!
