Do the preorder folks usually get theirs first?

Not from what i've seen in the past. If you have a good LHS you deal with just put a deposit there and you'll get the first one. At least that's how it works at mine and most others.

If i remember correctly. Dealer orders (LHS) take priority first then the pre orders are filled.

That is correct.

If by chance HH people a checking in here....is there any chance for a float kit with this plane. I'd really like to think so. Or will the 25 size floats from the Beaver/previous Cub bolt on?

No, this is not correct any more. Consumer Division gets an allocation just like any other hobby shop that has ordered. More in quantity than any other dealer, but still a finite number. Now if you order early enough from hh.com or over the phone you will get the product at the same time as the dealers. We've been doing this for several months now.

K, thanks for clarifying that. I was going back to when the P-51B was released. Things have changed.

Will there be scale floats for this beauty? If so this would definetly be one of the must have planes. Those which are made for beaver would maybe have new scale like float fittings...(donīt know the exact word, landing gear sturts or something like that...)

Looks nice, but the flying in the video was mostly too fast in my opinion to look scale, but heh, to each their own.

Great BG, you got it!! I think I will scratch up a 70" version given I already have the proper power system.

I have this funny feeling this bird is gonna end up in my hangar. To bad the interior is optional but will be a must have.

I am going to go ahead and preorder from HH. In the past the dealers have gotten them before HH showed them even in stock, I will be very mad if I could have ordered from a dealer and got it sooner.

I am very excited about this airplane! I wished Eflite would make a scale Super Decathlon. I own or have owned most all of their scale airplanes at least once. I love eflite stuff, always happy with their items.

Beautiful PA-18!. I plan on flying mine on 3 cells though. I really don't think 4 cells will be required. Power 25 on 3s is whats going in mine for sure. 68" will be a nice bird if we can keep the weight down. Back in the day my first Berkley/Sig Cub was 71" at 5.5 lbs and she was a real pussy cat of a Cub. I don't know about you guys, but E-flight has been tearing my wallet up lately. The late style aluminum flaps and ailerons are a sweet touch as well. Just like on my Dave Patrick PA-18.
