Hello Steve,

Yes according to the mini-z track, you can remove the crash bar

Outside of the track you can go out without problem

Cheers, I run all my Kyoshos without the crash bars and thats on a slippery floor with no gyro, I can get some serious lean angles on those so that gyro bike should be a walk in the park, I have an ideal place at work to run it

I guess it depends on where you drive it... I haven't driven it on a surface with so much grip you can drive it without the crash bars yet. If you lean it to low the front end slide and the bike low sides. Since there are no crash bars you can't just pull the throttle and stand it back up once its layed over. So you either end up having to drive around a track slowly making sure not to lean it to low or you end up having to pick it up by hand and send it back on its way.

It is still very stable and easy to drive. With the gyro on its lowest settings you still need to give it some time to lean over especially in high speed turns. Once you get the turning points down its no big deal.

Hmm, first impressions of the bike not good, dont know if I have a range issue but the bike just goes a few yards and then I have no control, and when I do have control it drops onto the crashbar and will not pick it self up with opposite lock , better with both gyros turned down but not what I was looking for, my 30 Silverlit was far better out of the box, hope its not a reflection of the price I paid, anyone out there got any views on this?

Well found the problem the steering servo is got an intermittent fault when it goes straight on or drops on the bars and will not come up you pick the bike up and the servo is not working then you work the steer wheel a few times and it starts working again, put the bike down and it steers for one corner and then it locks again. Going to have a word with the seller but it says no returns.

Where did you get the body work and rider from? They are a perfect fit!!

Maisto bikes don't have riders so it has to be from somewhere else...
