How about being specific, what and why?

There are two types of lock out. One is resulting in blinking light on Rx when Rx was rebooted during the flight. The second type is with solid light, with capable ESCs beeping "invalid data from Rx" code.

With my radio I experience lockouts of second type and my radio's PID is not on the list of recalled radios.

You understand the reasoning behind my question? I had a DSMx upgraded JR 12x and a DSM2 JR 921 RX, lost all control 3 times in maybe 20 seconds trying to land, finally nosed in. This one has me crazy even though I've accepted loss of the plane. It's not knowing after all checks out on the ground! RX was off when I got to it, the batteries ejected...

My lockout was on DSM2, I didn't update my TX.

Horizon has updated bulletin to expand range or radios recalled. Now my radio is included.

There is a third scenario, Spektrum "HAS NO INTERFERRENCE Rejection" capability, it merely shuts off the RX light and no control and when the interferrence is gone the light comes back on steady and your none the wiser.

It was proven 3 years ago:
