Freewing DeHavilland Mosquito

Looked through a lot of photos of what I think was the Shanghai Toy Show and came across these pics of the new Freewing Mosquito. Looks like it has an interchangeable clear bomber nose. Looks cool.

Anyone know anything about it?

You need to change more than the nose to make it a bomber. You need to change the canopy too!

I just tried Tom but the registration site is temporarily down for maintenance. I'm really looking forward to another weekend of fun with you guys. I even bought an old "canned-ham" camper to keep me warm and snug up there in the Valley. It needs a frame off restoration. I better get cracking!

any idea what span it is? Something around 36 inches would be nice for a change. In between the little parkzone and the big ones that are around.

Here's a link to the site from where I lifted the pics. The Freewing pics are pretty far down. Maybe you can estimate the size from som of the know aircraft. Looks like around 48" possibly.

According to their website, the SU34 hanging right above it is 900mm.

comparing the picture of the freewing b-17 above it, which is sitting on the same sized table, the mosquito is at least 48 span. Same size as the FSK.

That'd be cool by me. I just retired my FSK Mossie. I hand launch and belly land her and after only maybe 30 flights she's starting to get a little worn. I'd go for a medium sized Mossie that I can actually fly to go with the bigger ETM Mosquito.

I wonder who will carry this?
