for tim's repairs I will also use bailing wire in addition to duck tape and concrete...huh ! it will end up a tad heavier. the good thing is that there will be no need for ballast !

Hey now! Duct tape is normal dress for slope trash but bailing wire is waaaaay too exotic....

What does an F3F pilot do if he gets a flat tire on his truck???

He just replaces it with one off his house!!
I crack myself up!

I picked the Nyx up the other day, and the paint job and tip repair turned out GREAT!

looks totally brand new!

Alvaro does a really great job, and is a pleasure to deal with. He takes pride in making the repairs look better than the original, and cares about making you happy with whatever he does...

I may have Alvaro do a little paint work on my Ceres wings after I fix them.....If he isn't too busy.
The work is impeccable!

I saw some of his work today when I dropped off a couple of planes that need a little TLC - very nice. I'll post pics and a review when I get the planes back.

Based on a previous post I was contacted by Alvaro and after speaking to him about the repairs I need I'm definately going to take advantage of his services. Between his fair prices and the words above it appears to me that he's the man to go to.

Glass Finish / Paint

A bit of paint !!!
I delivered these wings to Dan Troxell a few weeks ago...these are abeeche sheeted wings built by Hans Mueller (a true work of art, solid construction) and originally covered with the standard Oracover. The procees involved peeling the covering and painting all tops and bottoms (blue): The end result is a glass look on a 28 foot wingspan !

Thanks Dan !!

Alvaro
