Nyx f3f/ds

A brand new from the box NYX F3F hand carried by Jim Porter to the USA. Jim got this direct from Breta in 2006. It came with the Heavy F3F layup, factory ballast and a sweet wing, tail & fuse Jaro style padded bag-set! Factory horns were removed and full length to the tip of the T/E G-10 horns A/F. servo bays were patched with 5" patches then boxed in with 1/4 end grain balsa on 3 sides (spar is the 4th. Heavy-duty steel bicycle spoke linkage with HD servo horns on the MKS DS6125 STRONG servos. Highly upgraded elevator setup 250oz MG Futaba .10 speed on 6 volts, yes 6 volts! (I am running the MKS regulators on the wing servos for max performance and reliability) Alvaro did the crazy, crazy pushrod sleeved in aluminum from the clevice 4" past the entry point of the pushrod to the bulkhead (Stiffomatic baby!) Alvaro does great final fitment and cleaning second to none and that makes a big difference. I'll get some pics up when I can throw the plane together.

NYX's

I got my two NYX wings back from Alvaro and I can't believe it! One of the tips was a complete rag doll! I mean no wiper, and you could twist it around it was so blasted. The problem was the rest of the plane was basically pristine. We had to fix it! I own all the other NYX wings that are available and there isn't any others. Anyway, I requested it in primer finish because it couldn't be good enough to worry about painting and WHAMO!!! Alvaro shows up with the tip and the other NYX wing (that I will post a photo of tomorrow AM) . Oh sweet! That thing looks so good! Yes, my NYX back.... After I get home the next morning I pull the wings out and assemble the planes and now realize they look too good for me to screw up trying to paint. Now I have to have the Doctor paint the wings and of coarse the matching colors. Alvaro told me to just fly them with primer. Hmnn.... I'll have to see!

Thanks again Alvaro,

Phil

You need to buy mine can't afford the hobby anymore, and don't have a place to do any work on them.

or dollars, call me at 619 895 4200 or send me a pm or email at a_corzo@sbcglobal.net, the alpina really belongs to you as you fly it like nobody else. I have never seen more elegant flying, try to keep it....I use my kitchen counter to build and my shower to squirt paint ))
